SNP Schlawien advises LIP Invest on the acquisition of another Hermes logistics property

The corporate law firm SNP Schlawien advised LIP INVEST GmbH on the purchase of the Hermes distribution centre in Bexbach near Saarbrücken as part of an off-market deal.

 

The existing property on a plot of 20,500 square metres has around 4,300 square metres of logistics space and 340 square metres of office and social space. Outside, the property offers a traffic area of 7,400 sqm and 28 Sprinter, 15 swap body and 17 car parking spaces. The distribution centre in Bexbach is part of the nationwide network of the parcel logistics company Hermes, which has been using the property for around 10 years. From this location, the company delivers to surrounding cities such as Saarbrücken, Kaiserslautern and Zweibrücken.

The property complements the portfolio of the open-ended real estate special AIF "LIP Real Estate Investment Fund - Logistics Germany IV". The seller was the project developer and investor Casaplan Seeliger from Saarbrücken. SNP Schlawien had previously advised LIP Invest on several other transactions, including Hermes logistics properties.
