New partner in the tax team comes from Stora Enso
The commercial law firm SNP Schlawien has gained Dr Nina Kuntschik as a new partner for its tax team at the Düsseldorf office.
Dr Nina Kuntschik (44) has been advising multinational companies for more than 15 years on all areas of German and international tax law, on transfer pricing and its documentation, on restructuring/M&A and on VAT. She assisted in one of the first EU arbitration proceedings on transfer pricing, provided tax advice on numerous M&A transactions and accompanies tax audits and court proceedings. From 2005 to 2011, she worked as a tax lawyer and tax advisor at Linklaters and Oppenhoff & Partner. In 2012, she joined the in-house tax team of the international group Stora Enso. In 2017, she became Head of Tax of a business unit for which she set up her own tax department. During this time, she implemented, among other things, an international Tax Compliance Management System (Tax CMS) and developed a Tax Tech tool for VAT. Dr Kuntschik will continue to look after Stora Enso's German tax issues in the future.
"We warmly welcome our new colleague Dr. Nina Kuntschik and are very much looking forward to working with her," Christian Lentföhr, Partner in the Düsseldorf office, welcomes the addition, with which SNP Schlawien is expanding the personnel capacities of the local tax department to a total of four partners and four salaried professionals. "Their addition represents an enrichment for us not only in the areas of corporate taxation and Tax CMS, but also in human terms."
