New location: SNP Schlawien opens in Stuttgart
The commercial law firm SNP Schlawien will open a new office in Stuttgart on 1 July 2020. With Christof Blauß, Dr. Mark-Oliver Scholz, Oliver Truckenmüller and Pierre Weisgerber, three partners and one associate have been added to the team. In addition, the Freiburg partner Richard Rummel will support the development of the new location and will work proportionately from the offices in Stuttgart and Freiburg.
Christof Blauß (55), specialist lawyer for banking and capital market law, advises and represents credit institutions in the structuring of complex credit and loan relationships, the handling of non-performing loan commitments, advisor liability and questions of banking supervisory law. In addition, he is also active in the field of corporate law, in particular in corporate transactions, and in real estate law. Between 2004 and 2012 he was honorary secretary general of the German-Latin American lawyers' association TRIANA e.V. He comes from the Stuttgart law firm Blaich und Partner.
Dr. Mark-Oliver Scholz (46) also focuses on corporate law, M&A and real estate law. He advises companies and shareholders, in particular on the formation of companies, the drafting and negotiation of purchase agreements for company acquisitions and sales, the performance of legal due diligence reviews and the preparation of due diligence reports as well as the negotiation and support of real estate transactions. Dr. Scholz joins SNP Schlawien together with Oliver Truckenmüller and Pierre Weisgerber from the Stuttgart law firm Dr. Scholz Frank Thomsen & Partner.
Oliver Truckenmüller (45) strengthens the Stuttgart office in the areas of employment law and insolvency law. He advises and represents in particular medium-sized companies, managing directors, works councils and employees in all matters relating to the ongoing employment relationship as well as personnel measures, restructurings up to and including dismissals and representation in proceedings for protection against dismissal. In addition to drafting employment contracts, he supports his clients overall in the drafting of general terms and conditions and contracts for ongoing business operations. Previously, Mr. Truckenmüller worked for a large insolvency law firm in Ulm.
Pierre Weisgerber (45) works as an associate mainly in private construction law and landlord and tenant law. After his studies he first founded a law firm in Arnstadt/Thuringia before joining Dr. Scholz Frank Thomsen & Partner in 2014.
Richard Rummel (42), a specialist in labour law, rounds off the team of advisors at the new Stuttgart office with his focus on labour law, commercial and corporate law and international business law. After his studies he initially worked in law firms in Munich and Freiburg. Since 2013 he has been working for SNP Schlawien.
Among the clients of the attorneys working at the Stuttgart office of SNP Schlawien are numerous banks located in Southern Germany, especially from the Volks- and Raiffeisen area, but also private banks and special financing institutions. The Stuttgart lawyers' clients also include well-known medium-sized companies from almost all industries, especially from the automotive, mechanical and plant engineering sectors, but also trading and service companies.
"On the one hand, our new location in Stuttgart gives us the opportunity to offer our consulting services, which focus on medium-sized companies, to new and existing clients in one of Germany's leading economic regions. On the other hand, we have gained highly experienced colleagues who fit exactly into our range of advisory services and who have well-established client relationships on site. Another decisive factor for us was that the human component also fits perfectly," says Marcel Pudimat, Business Development Manager at SNP Schlawien.
