Torsten Seiffert studied law in Leipzig and then worked as scientific assistant at the chair of criminal law and criminal trial law. Still today there is a close cooperation with Prof. Dr. Arndt Sinn of the Commercial Criminal Law Institute at the Osnabrück University. At first, Torsten Seiffert worked as a criminal defense attorney at the law firm Bonell und Collegen and set up his own law firm as soon as in the year 2000. Until the end of 2010 he was a partner of the law and tax consultant firm LFLSH Rechtsanwälte / Steuerberater that merged with the Leipzig office of SNP on January 1, 2011. In conducting his activities in criminal cases, Torsten Seiffert frequently defends victims, too, and represents victims of offenses as a joint plaintiff representative in the respective criminal trials. In doing so, he also focuses on representing victims of medical malpractice for whom extensive damage claims for pain and suffering are enforced in the subsequent civil proceedings in addition to the material damages. In addition to his special knowledge in terms of criminal law Torsten Seiffert has been working as lecturer for game law and weapons law since the year 2000 and is an appointed examiner for the granting of the hunting license in the federal land of Saxony.
